Tequila and Tattoos in Mexico
I went to Mexico with my grandmother.
And after a few too many Margaritas we got matching tattoos...
Then some Cartel guys asked us if we wanted to party.
We both said yes and ended up in some dodgy underground night club.
On arrival my grandmother was handed a microphone and pushed on stage.
Her immediate reaction was to sing “7 Days” by Craig David.
The crowd went wild and everyone started singing her name.
As a result we got free drinks all evening and Cartel protection back to our hotel.
This story, although I really wish it was true, was the result of a game I played in my Improv class.
One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2022 is to get good at public speaking.
It’s been one of my biggest fears since forever and I’m finally ready to get over it.
But if I’ve learnt anything over the last few years is that:
Taking fast action is one of the best ways to get what we want.
So instead of waiting for January 1st, I decided to get a head start and sign up in November already.
So far it’s been a great experience, really pushing me outside my comfort zone and forcing me to trust my innate creativity.
What about you, do you have any 2022 New Year's resolutions that you could start already today? (Apart from taking your Grandmother to Mexico of course)
PS: If one of those resolutions is to get a coach, message me now instead of waiting for 2022, I only have 2 available spots left in January.
