I don’t know what to do…

While this might be one of my all time favorite songs,

And clearly a song Shaggy could have written for me (video proof below).

I’ve luckily changed my views on the importance of taking responsibility.

I believe that responsibility breads empowerment.

The more responsibility you take in life, the more you are empowered to create your own path.

And while you might not always be responsible for things that happen to you,

You will always be responsible for the way you react.

And by responsible I mean you have the ability to respond however you like.

That ability to respond is your power, it’s the one thing that no one can take away from you.

And the more you use that power, the more empowered you will be to create your own circumstances.

So next time you see someone who’s not taking responsibility.

One thing you can know for sure is that…

It wasn’t me!
