My favourite books of 2022 so far…

I love reading books (and listening to them).

But I don’t always get to share or discuss them.

Here are some of the Books I’ve read so far in 2022:

Have you read any of them? What did you think of them? Let me know your thoughts in the comments :)

The Daily Stoic - Ryan Holiday: For me this was a nice introduction to Stoicism and provided many new perspectives on how to approach life, especially during difficult times.

Born a Crime - Trevor Noah: I listened to the audiobook and haven’t laughed so much in a while. You couldn't even make up some of the things he experienced while growing up as a mixed race kid in Pre/Post Apartheid. Very entertaining and highly educational.

Never - Ken Follett: This one is Fiction and provides a realistic but also pretty scary chain of events that could lead to WW3 (even scarier given current circumstances). Not my favorite Ken Follett book but still entertaining once you get into it.

The Secret Race - Tyler Hamilton: This one I couldn’t put down. I’m not necessarily a big fan of cycling or of the “Tour de France” but was fascinated by this insider perspective of the world of Doping and the not so flattering depiction of Lance Armstrong - someone I actually looked up to growing up.

The Choice - Edith Eger: Beautiful book written by a Holocost survivor. Contrary to what you might expect, the story is actually quite uplifting, showing Edith’s journey of healing and how she transformed it into a powerful gift.

What great books have you read recently?
