#NoRegrets
I’m a firm believer that we should have no regrets in life.
Anything that’s already done is out of our control and part of what made us who we are today.
What we can control however are the decisions we make in the present.
And part of living a life with no regrets means:
Doing things now that we don’t want to regret not having done in the future.
It means living our life in the present so that regret is never even an option down the line.
When I made the decision to quit corporate life and start my own Coaching business, it was not an easy one.
But I knew that if I didn’t at least try, I might regret it for the rest of my life.
That’s why this quote from Trevor Noah really resonated with me (See below).
Because wanting to live a life of no regrets is what allowed me to take action despite being terrified of failure and rejection.
Failure is just feedback. Rejection is just redirection.
But regret can be eternal.
What’s one thing you don’t want to regret not having done in the future?
QUOTE:
“I don't regret anything I've ever done in life, any choice that I've made. But I'm consumed with regret for the things I didn't do, the choices I didn't make, the things I didn't say. We spend so much time being afraid of failure, afraid of rejection. But regret is the thing we should fear most.”
